Registered Massage Therapist Scott graduated from the D'Arcy Lane Institute as a registered massage therapist in 2008. Scott has worked in a variety of settings since graduating, including athletic facilities and private clinics. Scott’s focus is on therapeutic massage, working to decrease soft tissue adhesions and restrictions, and reduce muscle tension to restore everyday function and prevent recurrence. Scott works with a variety of populations, including athletes, work-related and motor vehicle accident-related injuries. He works to promote healing for many different injuries, as well as easing everyday aches and pains. Scott also has a background in kinesiology, and will often provide home exercises or stretches to his clients in order to help maintain the benefits of massage between visits.
Scott is an avid athlete, and continues to participate in a number of sports including softball, volleyball and hockey. He also works with Special Olympics Ontario, coaching floor hockey. |
Sarah BellRegistered Massage Therapist As a Sports Injury Therapist ™, Sarah is a Registered Massage Therapist with special training in Sports Injury Management. She is trained to treat and assess soft tissue dysfunction in both clinical and sporting environments in order to enhance the fitness level and performance of her clients. Sarah utilizes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and supportive taping and bracing to recognize, prevent, manage and rehabilitate injuries related to sport, exercise or repetitive daily activities.
Sarah's degree in Kinesiology has given her an advanced background in the knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and biomechanics, which she applies to each and every treatment. Sarah is able to provide application of the following modalities: • Provision of comprehensive assessments via inspection of the client’s anatomy, soft tissue palpation, range of motion testing, neurological testing, orthopaedic testing and verbal interview • Hydrotherapy applications (Hot and Cold treatment applications) • Assessment and treatment of emergency first aid conditions • Application of protective techniques (supportive and preventative taping and bracing) • Formulation of individualized rehab programs (strength training, stretching programs, proprioception retraining and core stability programs) Sarah is a strong believer in holistic health care. All of her clientele are provided with thorough education regarding their condition, so they not only understand the healing process, but they become an active participant in their rehabilitation. Sarah works alongside the client and their other health care providers, to create the most comprehensive health care plan. |
Michelle KudelkaRegistered Massage Therapist Michelle is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and has been a registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2003.
She has extensive clinical experience treating clients with headaches, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ), Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and other repetitive strain conditions. Michelle provides therapeutic massage, focusing on root causes of injury or discomfort. Through a combination of general massage techniques, fascial release and passive muscle stretching her goal is recreate body balance so clients can return to normal function. Additional modalities include Functional/Kinesiology Taping, Acupressure and Sport Massage. Michelle has a particular passion for pre and postnatal massage. She works to support a woman’s body during the rapid changes occurring throughout pregnancy by focusing on maintaining postural integrity and the health of supporting muscle structures, as well as preparing the body for the birthing of the baby. Postpartum treatments can include abdominal scar tissue health, breast massage treatment or self care for nursing mothers, and general infant massage. Michelle is a strong advocate of client education. She will work with you to understand the mechanism of your symptoms and help find the best way to promote continued recovery success. |
